PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — New details have emerged in a Portsmouth triple shooting that left one man dead and injured two others.

Torian Sexton has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated malicious wounding and other firearm-related charges in connection to a shooting on Jefferson Street. If he is convicted of first-degree murder, the 19-year-old could spend the rest of his life in prison.
On Sunday, Portsmouth police responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Jefferson Street, near Deep Creek Boulevard, around 5:30 p.m. One person was taken to the hospital for his injuries, and two others were treated at a hospital as walk-ins. One of them, Danyelle Akoya Lee, 44, died as a result of his injuries.
According to court records, three men were playing dice behind a vacant building when a surveillance camera captured an approaching car with a man hanging from the passenger-side window and firing a 9mm weapon indiscriminately, wounding the three men.
