NPD: Woman arrested after shooting on 19th Bay St.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A woman was arrested on Sunday after a shooting on 19th Bay Street, police said.

According to officials, around 3:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 9500 block of 19th Bay Street for reports of a gunshot victim.

Officers arrived to the scene and found a man suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound.

After an investigation, 21-year-old Corean A. Clement of Norfolk was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm and domestic assault. She is currently being held without bond at Norfolk City Jail.
