VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Two-hour free parking is getting ready to return to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront starting on Friday.
Oceanfront residents ask for accessible parking, local association proposes plan to VB
From Nov. 1 through March 31, visitors will be able to park for free between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. along the outside southbound lane of Atlantic Avenue, from 5th Street to 38th Street.
Exceptions for free parking will be between 10th Street and 11th Street, 19th Street and 22nd Streets and 29th and 32nd Streets.
Additionally, free metered parking will be available at on-street spaces except for the 300 blocks of 24th and 25th Streets.
