Norfolk Fire-Rescue responds to house fire on Courtney Ave.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a house fire on Courtney Avenue early Friday morning.

According to officials, crews were dispatched to Courtney Avenue around 3:45 a.m.

Crews arrived to find visible fire through the roof of a single-story house. The fire was considered under control after 20 minutes.

The house was unoccupied, and no one was displaced. No injuries were reported.

The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
