It was definitely a tale of two halves. It started like a shootout and finished in a grind out. Offenses seemed unstoppable early, but defense ultimately defined the outcome. Appalachian State overcame an opening half 10-point deficit to force Old Dominion into a 28-20 submission, and perhaps the Mountaineers are simultaneously reversing this season’s first half results as well.
