NORFOLK — A fire involving two cars in a Ghent parking lot Sunday afternoon damaged the outside of the Dollar Tree on 21st Street.
The fire, which was reported around 1:37 p.m., caused large burn marks to the Dollar Tree. The store is located on 21st Street at the intersection with DeBree Avenue across from the Taste restaurant.
The fire was declared under control in about 20 minutes, according to a news release from Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen from across the city.
No injuries were reported.
