Post-election mental health; experts say it’s expected to feel a wild range of emotions

NORFOLK, Va. – With Election Day finally over, experts say it’s not only normal to feel a little off-kilter, it’s expected. In Hampton Roads, we are no exception. “Just immediately like the last few clients that I saw, it is all about the election and the grief surrounding it, with a few comments of relief here and there from some people,” said Mary Crutchfield, a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
