Steve Rockefeller, a frequent Kroger shopper, called out the issue on social media, tagging the grocery giant.

“Is there a cart and basket shortage?

“A few times I’ve had to leave the store and find a cart in the parking lot. Not a complaint, it sure is a pain every time.”

Kroger responded with an apology, saying: “Hi Steve, we apologize that store has carts and basket storage.

“Let us help look into this situation, and please kindly sent us DM with the store address, date visited the store, together with your contact number or email. Thank you and have a great day!”
