VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are looking for a suspect after a shots fired incident in the 700 block of Little Neck Road Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. after a shot was fired during a dispute, police said. Police are currently looking for the person who fired the shot.
At this time, there are no gunshot wound victims. One individual is being treated for a minor injury.
King’s Grant Elementary and Kingston Elementary were briefly placed on an external lockdown while police investigated near the campuses. Instruction continued throughout. The external lockdown has been lifted, and they resumed normal operations.
