PORTSMOUTH, VA. (WAVY)– A local DJ is set to be on the one and twos for 24 hours to help families in need for the holidays.
Derrick Isabell, better known as Izzy the DJ, and the C.R.O.P Foundation are partnering up to host their 4 th Annual Up All Night 24 Hour DJ-A-Thon.
Isabell is set to begin DJing Friday at 1 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday at 1 p.m. The DJ-A-Thon will be streamed across multiple digital platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube and Instagram under the handle IZZYTHEDJ .
In 2023, they raised over $6,000 and were able to help five families for the holidays. This year, they aim to double that and raise at least $12,000.
During the livestream, people can donate using the following apps:

Individuals are also more than welcome to deliver monetary donations or toys/gifts to 2505 Ash Street in Portsmouth.
All proceeds go to families in need for the holiday.
