NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a fire on Monday morning on Andrew Lane. One cat died as a result of the fire.
Around 5:25 a.m., crews responded to 8200 block of Andrew Lane to find smoke and flames visible from the front of the house. After an interior attack, they were able to knock down the fire with two hose lines.
Two cats were rescued, but one died.
The cause is under investigation.
