USS Cole to return to Naval Station Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole

The vessel was deployed for more than seven months to the U.S. Naval Forces Europe – Africa and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command areas of operation. U SS Cole was used in the response by the U.S. after Iran launched missiles at Israel, firing a dozen interceptors in October.
