VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — One person was treated for smoke inhalation following a fire to a two-story home in the Green Run area of Virginia Beach Wednesday, the Virginia Beach Fire Department said.
Around 5:10 p.m., fire department units were sent to a reported residential fire in the 3800 block of Danville Court, and when units arrived four minutes later, heavy smoke and flames were showing from the back of the home, the fire department said.

The fire was marked under control at 5:28 p.m. and was marked out at 5:47 p.m. One man is displaced and the Red Cross has been contacted to help with temporary housing, the fire department said.
A Virginia Beach Fire Department investigator has determined the fire to be accidental, caused by a lit grill outside the rear of the home.
