VIRGINIA BEACH — A proposal for a new state grant program that could boost sports tourism in the commonwealth has piqued the interest of Virginia Beach city leaders.
“I would think that would be something we’d want to support,” said Councilwoman Barbara Henley during a recent briefing on the fund and other legislation making its way through the General Assembly.
