CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Dry and chilly weather will continue on this Tuesday. Clouds will increase ahead of a winter storm.
No snow until Wednesday morning.
Wednesday is a First Alert Weather Day. Light snow and snow showers will break out during Wednesday morning and will linger into the afternoon. Temperatures will be well below freezing. That will make for a dry, powdery type of snowfall.
The bulk of the snow will shift southeast of the region by later Wednesday afternoon and night.
