NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, N.C. — As a record-breaking winter storm rolled through Hampton Roads, animals at the Virginia Zoo were enjoying the snow!
While not all animals are built for the snowy conditions, there are a few out enjoying the weather including Lily the American bison, Suprise the African lioness, Kali and Asha.
Horticulture, Animal Care, and Veterinary teams are on site taking care of the animals and they captured some cute pictures of the animals out in the snow…
