CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Virginia State Police are on scene investigating what they called “a suspicious death” on the on-ramp to west I-64 from northbound Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake. That is the on-ramp to I-64 closest to the Greenbrier Mall.
State police say they were notified about the incident at around 5:37 p.m. Thursday. The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Chesapeake Police Department are on scene as well, assisting with rerouting traffic, to allow for the investigation to continue.
