Richmond, VA – Strong storms with damaging winds and possible tornadoes will impact Virginia today, with the highest threat in the afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service in Wakefield, a squall line of heavy rain and thunderstorms will move through the state between late morning and evening. The most significant risk will occur west of I-95 from 11 AM to 3 PM and east of I-95, including the Eastern Shore, between 2 PM and 6 PM.
