Woman pleads guilty to attempted carjacking in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A woman has pleaded guilty to the attempted carjacking of a resident in the Ocean View area of Norfolk last April.

Rekesia Gray, 22, took a plea deal in the case last week. According to the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, Gray approached the vehicle parked off of Wells Parkway wearing a mask and pointed a black BB gun, believed to be a gun at the time, at the victim.

Prosecutors sid that Gray demanded the victim’s car keys, and when the victim refused, they said Gray grabbed her phone, threw it across the yard and threatened to shoot her…
