Spring tickets are available for the Virginia Scenic Railway and the railway is almost ready for passengers to experience the latest addition to its fleet.
The “Silver Palace” is a Vista-Dome class car built by the Budd Company in 1948. The car originally ran on the Western Pacific Railroad’s California Zephyr passenger route. Refurbishment is nearly complete.
