Deadly Norfolk house fire leaves one dead, adds to grim milestone for the city

NORFOLK, Va. — A house fire in Norfolk turned deadly Monday morning, adding to a grim milestone for the city. According to Norfolk Fire and Rescue leadership, three people have died in three separate house fires within the span of two months.

Previously, the city’s last deadly house fire was recorded in 2021.
