VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.(WAVY)– Crews with the Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a fire in the Green Run section of the city.
According to officials, crews were dispatched to the 3800 block of Amberley Forest Placed just after 8 a.m. for the report of a residential structure fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames from outside of the structure. The smoke alarm had activated.
Crews quickly responded with water on the fire and marked it out at 8:21 a.m.
