NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police say they are investigating after a pedestrian has died following a crash Wednesday morning.
A call came in around 4:30 a.m. reporting the incident in the 1600 block of Church Street. Police say the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later announced that she had passed away from her injuries.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash. Police added that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, but they are still investigating the cause…
