PORTSMOUTH, Va. — One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a fire in Portsmouth Saturday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Deep Creek Boulevard, according to a press release from Portsmouth Fire Department. Crews entered the home and found a kitchen fire, which they extinguished before it spread to other structures.
