57-year-old woman wounded in Norfolk stabbing, suspect arrested

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was wounded after a stabbing in Norfolk overnight on Saturday, according to police.

On April 19, Norfolk Police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Colgate Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. in reference to a stabbing victim.

Upon arrival, officers found a 57-year-old woman suffering from multiple wounds. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Following an investigation, detectives arrested and charged 34-year-old Howard P. Randle II, with malicious wounding and domestic assault. He was held without bond in Norfolk City Jail…
