Reward offered for tips in Hampton homicide case

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton police are investigating the death of a 73-year-old man as a homicide, they said.

At about 5:45 p.m. on Friday, April 25, the Hampton Police Division received a call about a deceased person in the first block of Azalea Drive, according to a Hampton press release. The Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue arrived and found the man deceased in the residence. Due to the suspicious nature and injuries consistent with trauma, Hampton Police Division officers also responded to the scene.
