NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A Norfolk police officer was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a crash on April 27.
An investigation determined the crash happened around 2:35 a.m., when a driver hit a marked police car while making a turn on the 4200 block of E Little Creek Road. The driver, 26-year-old Alberto Vasquez, of Norfolk, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
