Illegal firearm purchase lands 2 men in custody, says Virginia Beach police

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Two men are in custody facing charges related to the illegal purchase of a weapon, according to Virginia Beach Police.

Investigators say 26-year-old Darien Smith, a convicted felon, asked 27-year-old Raeqwon Williams to buy a firearm on his behalf.
