NORFOLK, Va. — You’ve probably heard of palindromes. They’re strings of characters or words that read the same backward as they do forward. They’re words like “mom” and “dad” and names like “Hannah” or “Bob.”
They can also be dates, and starting on May 20, we’ve got a whole string of them: 10 in a row, to be exact!
When you put in the date “May 20, 2025” as all numbers, you get 5/20/25, or 52025, which is a palindrome. The following day also ends up being a palindrome, and if you keep going, you get 10 total for this year:
