PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A tornado watch that was issued for much of Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina has expired, according to the National Weather Service in Wakefield.
A tornado watch means the conditions are favorable for a tornado to form and it is time to get prepared for inclement weather.
