Man sentenced 10 years for triple stabbing at Virginia Beach bar

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A Virginia Beach man was sentenced Friday after stabbing three people during a fight at a local bar last summer.

Paul Power was sentenced to 10 years in prison for stabbing three coworkers during a fight at Kelly’s Tavern on Laskin Road last June.

Power was convicted on two counts of aggravated malicious wounding and one count of malicious wounding. He received 20-year sentences on each aggravated malicious wounding charge, with 16 years suspended and four years to serve on each count.
