HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton Police Department arrested a man Wednesday who barricaded himself in the 700 block of East Little Back River Road following a May 21 shooting.
Officers identified Jason Michael Holland as the main suspect in the shooting that left a man severely injured in the 200 block of Libby Street.

Following the investigation into the shooting, police obtained an arrest warrant for Holland and attempted a warrant service around 12:41 p.m. After refusing to come out, The Hampton Police Division’s swat team was activated and arrested Holland around 3:30 p.m.
He had warrants for one count each of aggravated malicious wounding, possession of firearm by convicted violent felon, use of firearm in commission of a felony, discharge firearm in public and reckless handling of a firearm…
