CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Four adults have been displaced after an accidental house fire in the Western Branch section of Chesapeake on Saturday evening.
Firefighters responded to the 1600 block of Clarks Circle around 7:55 p.m. in reference to a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, they reported smoke showing at the garage entrance of a two-story residential structure.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and contained it to the garage area of the home. The fire was marked under control at approximately 8:15 p.m.
The occupants evacuated the structure before firefighters arrived on the scene. They will be handling their own lodging arrangements…
