The Chesapeake Democratic Women (CDW) recently hosted the group’s annual Nora Davenport Scholarship Luncheon during which six graduating Chesapeake high school seniors were awarded. Each of the scholars received $1,000 from the CDW to assist with their higher education.
This year’s luncheon was held at the River Walk Club House on Sunday June 8 and was well attended by members of the CDW and the scholars and their families.
