CHESAPEAKE , Va.(WAVY)– An actor known for his role in a popular television series faces charges in Chesapeake.
Known for his role as Hakeem Lyon on Fox’s hit show “Empire”, 31-year-old Bryshere Gray has been charged with assault and battery. Chesapeake police said they did not arrest Gray and that the charge was taken out by a private citizen.
According to NBC, Gray was arrested back in 2020 for allegedly assaulting his wife in Phoenix, Arizona.
He is expected in court for his arraignment on Wednesday…
