PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — One person suffered minor injuries after a tree fell on top of a car on Interstate 264 near the intersection of Frederick Road in Portsmouth Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The car was heading eastbound on I-264 when the tree fell on it around 9:45 p.m.
