CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Fresh Start Automotive in Chesapeake will be closed until further notice following a fire on Saturday evening.
Chesapeake and Virginia Beach firefighters responded to a report of a commercial structure fire at Fresh Start Automotive in the 1200 block of Military Highway around 6:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews reported visible smoke and fire coming from the building. They quickly extinguished the fire, and it was marked under control at approximately 6:35 p.m.
Occupants were alerted of the fire through working smoke detectors and evacuated the building before firefighters arrived on scene…
