NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A plane with about 200 people on board landed safely Sunday afternoon after diverting to Norfolk International Airport due to a maintenance issue.
An Airbus A321 aircraft, operating as Delta flight 1622, was traveling from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Orlando International Airport with 191 passengers, however it landed in Norfolk around 2:30 p.m. to examine a “possible maintenance issue,” per a statement from Delta.
