Lightning strikes Norfolk home; displaces 2 adults and 3 children

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults and three children were displaced after lightning struck a house in Norfolk on Thursday night.

Norfolk Fire-Rescue was dispatched to the 4900 block of Woolsey Street for the report of a residential fire around 10:25 p.m.

Upon arrival, crews found a small exterior fire on the back corner of the single-story home and moderate smoke conditions in the attic.
