CPD: Firearms, narcotics seized during investigation into gang activity

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Several firearms and narcotics were seized in early May as part of an investigation into possible gang activity in Chesapeake.

According to officials, the Chesapeake Police Gang Suppression Unit launched an investigation in late 2024 into individuals believed to be associated with the Bounty Hunger Bloods Watts 4Line gang.

On May 8, 2025, police executed multiple search warrants at different suspected gang members’ residences. As a result of the search, an AK-47, assault-style pistol, four handguns, cocaine, over one pound of marijuana, ecstasy and several thousand dollars in cash were seized.
