HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Roads is under an extreme heat warning. Not an ideal time to lose power, but unfortunately this happened to more than 1,500 Dominion Energy customers Tuesday.

According to the Dominion Energy outage summary, approximately 1,500 customers in Hampton lost power around noon Tuesday because of a circuit outage. The map shows the outage centered around St. Basil the Great Orthodox Church off Todds Lane.
The company expects power will be restored by 5 p.m.
The outage site also showed a few dozen outages in Newport News around the same time…
