Documentary maker comes to Portsmouth for testimonials about devastation of fentanyl

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A Texas documentarian is in town harnessing the power of storytelling to spread the word about the power of fentanyl.

Houston-based Texas Pictures Documentaries conducted interviews with family members from Hampton Roads and North Carolina affected by the deadly drug, and it has already posted 300 testimonials, and counting.

“It’s really all about increasing awareness,” said director Glen Muse. “Our YouTube channel is averaging about a million views a month. We’ve been doing the fentanyl series for over two-and-a-half years, and that is really been what has led to all the growth on our channel.”…
