NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Navari Taylor was sentenced to four years and two months in prison for shooting into his ex-girlfriend’s home in Norfolk last year.
The incident occurred on October 18, 2024. Taylor, accompanied by three others, fired several rounds into his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom window on Edward Street, after she filed a criminal complaint against him for threatening her. After firing the shots, the group drove off and Taylor threw the gun out of the vehicle, according to a news release from the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. No one was injured in the shooting.
