CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man accused of illegally recording people in a medical center restroom now faces more than 150 such charges.
Docs: Sentara employee admitted to hiding recording device in restroom
Jeffrey Leffel has been accused of placing a cell phone in a restroom at a Sentara Health facility on Edwin Drive in Chesapeake over a period of several years. According to court documents, the recordings began in 2021.
Previously, Leffel had 42 counts of filming a nonconsented nude person against him, but now, there are 170 such charges against him, all misdemeanors. He faces another charge of model for obscene film/photo. Forty-two charges are under the misspelled name of Leefel.
10 On Your Side tried to reach out to Leffel at his residence, but there was no answer at the door. Later, through his lawyer, Leffel told 10 On Your Side not to return to the property. He received bond for a second time on the latest charges Wednesday, and had an arraignment Thursday…
