The Chrysler Museum of Art’s revolutionary art party, IgNITE is back, and it’s bringing the heat on July 25 from 7–10 p.m. at One Memorial Pl, Norfolk, VA 23510, with a night of creativity, super fly fashion, and an After Party Fire at the adjacent Perry Glass Studio beginning at 10 p.m.

IgNITE: Inferno invites visitors to step into the glitz and beats of the 1970s while dancing the night away with:

  • Genre-defying DJ sets by DJ Gabe Niles and DJ MyMyMy
  • ABBA musical stylings by Mama Trooper
  • High-volume, high-glam drag and karaoke
  • Vintage video games with Button Slashers
  • Fun fashion pop-up with Foster Beauty Fashion Show
  • Disco craft with Studio Kuumba
  • Creative cocktail tastings by Reverend Spirits
  • 4×4 Art Marketplace

IngNITE will also include an opportunity to view the Museum’s latest exhibition, “Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass,” on view through September 14. Live glassblowing, flameworking and jewelry-making demonstrations will be held throughout the evening, offering visitors an up-close view into the techniques and materials used in the exhibition.
