NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was recently sentenced to over three years in prison after pleading guilty to drug and firearm charges.
According to officials, on April 1, 2024, 36-year-old Domonic Sharod Craig was outside of his residence on Woodview Avenue when he began shooting at a cardboard box with one of his firearms. One of the bullets Craig shot struck the window of a neighbors house while they were home, leading to them calling the Norfolk Police Department.
Upon arrival to the scene, Craig was detained and multiple bullet casings were found in the front and back yard. Doorbell camera was also able to capture footage of Craig shooting at the cardboard box.
Following this, officers were able to obtain a search warrant for Craig’s home. Once inside, officers were able to recover five handguns, one AR-style semi-automatic shotgun, magazines, ammunition, over 13 pounds of marijuana, over 100 methamphetamine pills, over 100 heroin pills, a shipping scale, labels and packaging material, according to a release…
