HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A motorcyclist has died after evading a traffic stop and striking an SUV in Hampton on Thursday morning, according to Virginia State Police.
A Virginia State Police trooper initiated a traffic stop on the operator of a 2007 Kawasaki Motorcycle on I-664 southbound at around 10:35 a.m. He was driving 100 mph in a 60-mph speed zone and refused to pull over.
The motorcyclist increased his speed, and the trooper lost sight of him at Aberdeen Road and ended the pursuit a minute after it was initiated…
