BIN Moves To 92.1 In Norfolk. Former Home At 105.3 Stunting.

The Black Information Network (BIN) has changed frequencies in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News market. The iHeartMedia-produced news network targeting African Americans is now heard on 92.1 WHBT, replacing classic hip-hop “92.1 The Beat.” “BIN 92.1 FM, Norfolk’s Black Information Network,” launched at 6am Friday (July 25). Meanwhile, BIN’s former home is stunting with a Christmas In July format as “105.3 Hampton Roads’ Christmas Station.” It’s not yet known what iHeart has in store long-term for 105.3 (WNOH).

BIN’s new Norfolk home at 92.1 is Class C3 broadcasting with 14,500 watts. The 105.3 frequency is a Class B at 50,000 watts…
