NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A woman devastated after having to move out of their Norview-area home after her uncle was arrested in the stabbing death of a man last November is living in a more stable situation now.
One crisis leads to others for Norfolk family
Reo Jones was in the Huntersville area of Norfolk on a scorching Tuesday to pick up some school supplies for her children as part of a giveaway by the nonprofit Authentic Blessings. Though temperatures approached 90 degrees on the community athletic field, it was a joyous occasion thanks to cool treats and warm hearts.
“Do you remember me?”
That’s what Jones asked 10 On Your Side’s Regina Mobley, who had learned last Nov. 8 about the woman and her family while investigating a murder at a convenience store near the Norview area. Jones had lost her home after her uncle, Archie Jones, was arrested for the stabbing death of Brandon Rhodes, 35. A hearing in his case is scheduled for Sept. 3 in Norfolk General District Court…
