VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — One person was displaced after a fire on Atlantic Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to officials, around 3:25 a.m., crews with the Virginia Beach Fire Department were dispatched to the 4900 block of Atlantic Avenue for reports of a residential structure fire.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews saw light smoke coming from the second floor of a two-story home. Crews said the fire was officially marked out just before 4 a.m.
